Project: 3 Creek Ranch Water Quality & Quantity Monitoring
Location: Teton County, WY
Date: 2003-2007
Goal:
To collect appropriate water quality and quantity data to insure that the 3 Creek Ranch Development does not result in degradation of water quality or quantity in Spring Creek and that they remain in compliance with their Teton County Development Permit.

Description:
3 Creek Ranch is a new golf course development located in Teton County, Wyoming. Recent Teton County standards require that all golf course developments implement a Natural Resource Management Plan which includes a water quality monitoring network to insure that the development does not result in negative impacts to water resources. IMA conducted comprehensive water quality and quantity monitoring on the project site in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 including testing for:

• Nutrients, pesticides, coliforms and macro-invertebrates
• Thermal degradation
• Aquifer impacts
• NPDES permit requirements

Comprehensive annual reports analyzing trends and providing future monitoring and management recommendations have been issued to the developer and Teton County.
