Project: Flat Creek Watershed Assessment
Location: Jackson Hole, WY
Date: 2006
Goal:
The goal of the Flat Creek Watershed Assessment was to identify water and habitat quality impairments, define watershed committee concerns and goals and provide guidance for the restoration of water and habitat quality in Flat Creek and its tributaries.

Description:
The overall purpose of the Flat Creek watershed assessment and planning process was to restore the water quality and habitat quality in Flat Creek and its tributaries to meet the designated uses for the waterbody and to achieve the goals identified by the stakeholders in the watershed. IMA was in charge of facilitating watershed committee and public meetings, assisting a watershed committee with developing goals and identifying priorities, completing historical review of existing watershed data and identifying feasible management practices and potential funding sources. At the end of the meetings and analysis phase of the project, IMA developed an implementation and monitoring plan for executing management practices and achieving watershed committee goals.
