Corral Creek Ranch - Fish & Wildlife Lake

IMA was contracted to, design, permit, and construct a 6 acre lake on private property. The goal of the project was to create a highly functional lake and wetland complex for wildlife, fire suppression, and recreation. The lake is primarily groundwater fed, but is supplemented with an irrigation ditch. The scope of work included a ground water study, wetland delineation, and water rights transfer.

The lake is utilized by many species of wildlife including a variety of shore birds

Willow plantings are temporarily fenced to protect them from moose and elk during establishment

Several species of herbaceous wetland plants were included in the revegetation plan
